This beautiful girl is one of my season seniors. She goes to Caldwell High School and has so many talents. I have enjoyed photographing her for two seasons so far. I’m sharing both on this post! Besides being absolutely gorgeous, she plays soccer and the viola. She loves reading and writing and loves time with her family. I look forward to capturing her with her family at her winter session.
One of the coolest things about being a season senior is so many outfits, different hair styles/colors, capturing all the hobbies and interests, sneaking in some family photos, but most of all…see how much they change in a year. It’s incredible! I’m honored to have this girl in front of my camera all year!
Here’s a letter from her mom…grab a tissue
McKalee-
Seems like just a minute ago that I had to pry you away from me as I dropped you off at daycare. There were many mornings I am sure if I had not told you that I needed you to be a “Great big sister and go to daycare to make sure Zooey was good” you would not have gotten out of the car.
That stubborn, yet caring little girl has transformed into a determined, compassionate individual with a mind of her own. You have used these strengths endlessly as you have accomplished your goals in school, soccer, orchestra, work, and extra-curricular clubs. You have never settled for mediocre, but have always pushed yourself to be a leader and the go to person for others. Whether it’s needing a listening ear, someone to laugh with, or get things organized and done- you are the one everyone can count on to be there-always willing and with a big heart.
Your senior year has not been what I would have wished for you, but I am so proud of how you have found ways to make bright spots out of the darkness. You have made a choice to control what you can…your mindset! As you begin this next chapter in your life, continue to be true to yourself. There will be moments when you question the journey and experience a multitude of feelings along the way, but never doubt your ability to navigate life’s challenges. Let’s be real Sis, we’ve been through a lot and I am so confident that there is nothing you are not strong enough to handle. You are fierce and so loved. Should life kick you a ball that you can’t juggle, mom has your back ( Wentworth style…”wink, wink”)!
Love Always!
