This new mama just wanted ONE good picture of her sweet newborn! We got a few more than one and of course we made mama cry. So many emotions after having a baby. You are so sleep deprived it makes you feel all the feels…ALOT! Warm studio, baby with a full tummy and some other much needed items to make a newborn session go smooth, we captured Cate in the newborn stage in one hour. Baby Cate’s room is “Under the Sea” theme so of course I had to do one themed image. What a beautiful piece of family art for the wall!

Look at her little tootsies!! I just want to kiss them!! When my kids were babies, every time I changed their diaper I would smell and kiss their feet and their little toes would wrap around my upper lip.
I can’t say I miss the newborn stage but I can say it goes by way too fast!! Seriously, enjoy the precious present. The days might be long but the years are so short!

PS. I don’t do newborn portraits. I just get talked into a few pictures every once in a while. 😘
