He has been riding a mountain bike or a road bike for 16 years! His first mountain bike race was when he was only eight years old!! All these race numbers behind him show some of his history of races. From the time you start collecting them to the time one chapter ends and another begins, you don’t realize or appreciate the history in all these numbers until you do. Lance (or as we like to call him, Lancie) is graduating high school this month. Lance has been part of our Season Senior Tribe, starting in a creek at the end of August, up at Bogus in October, skipped winter and then we finished with a spring session in the studio and Boise Foothills.

Lance’s dad has talked about these shots with his race numbers when senior year seemed so far away, and here we are able to count on our fingers and toes when graduation ceremony is. Lance is continuing his education and biking in Colorado. I look forward to watching him step into his next chapter of life.
