oooh sweet baby! Happy 1st birthday!

Matthew was visiting family and his mom planned ahead to have his 1st year photos taken while in Boise. What an honor. We were able to get some shots in the studio with his Japanese outfit and then we went to the studio yard. Apparently Matthew is very smiley but he decided to bring his serious GQ look to this session. I’m not mad about it though! Look at this beautiful boy!

The first picture literally takes my breath away. I love his very blue eyes, his perfect red lips, his cute little toddler hands and the piece of grass he was so interested in. Maybe we should all slow down and be fascinated with the small things…a piece of grass, a flower, a bug, a feather…
