📸 Family portraits are always so special to me, but this one was extra special! I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing couple who are not only expecting their first baby but are also CrossFit fanatics! 💪🏋️‍♀️ We love our CrossFit families!!

They don’t know the gender of the baby yet, but they are so excited to welcome their little one into the world. It was heartwarming to see the love and excitement they have for their baby, and I couldn’t be happier for them! 🤰👶

However, I could also feel the sadness in the air as the mom-to-be shared with me that her own mother passed away a few years ago. She expressed how much she wished her mom could be here to witness this precious moment in their lives. 💔 No one can take place of her mama but I do know she has so many women in her life, including aunts, sisters and friends who are trying to fill as much of that void as possible.

I hope that through these photos, they can feel the love and support of their family and friends, and also know that their little one will always be surrounded by love. 🥰
