I have a confession to make…

I love making people feel comfortable and have fun in front of the camera. Meet Grayson, one of our 2025 Season Seniors. I have had the privilege of photographing both of his older siblings as season seniors and Grayson is the baby (last but not least)! This kid didn’t really care about getting pictures done. Do you have a kid like this? I did, I had to bribe her through it all! Not against bribery for pictures by the way!!

When I say Grayson didn’t really care, he was there for mom and dad and we worked hard at figuring out the best locations and time of year for Grayson. We wanted to represent him and we also wanted him to feel as comfortable as possible with all the decisions. I mean, most people are nervous to get in front of the camera so he is not alone. This was Grayson’s first session and you guys!! YOU GUYS!!! He rocked it! What I mean by that is from beginning to end, about an hour, Grayson changed. We all saw it! He went from nervous to having fun and feeling confident! It was awesome!! We didn’t over shoot. We didn’t do any weird poses and I brought one of his favorite drinks, yes I bribe too! All the planning up front makes for successful sessions, whether a senior or a family!

Grayson is the reason we have a Yellowstone National Park opening. He loves National parks so his next session is there! As we travel to Wyoming to visit our daughter and watch her play soccer, we are leaving a day early to do pictures of Grayson at the park. Aaaand we are able to add an extra day for a family or senior on our way home. September 22, sunset (by the way). I have had quite a few inquiries on this but no one has committed. What does being committed mean? It means you have booked a planning session to talk details and your have paid the retainer to hold that date/time. Message me if you would like more details please.

Grayson is a very kind kid, with very few words, an amazing smile and a great heart! I look forward to photographing him next at his happy place! I will be the nervous one though, I have never shot there! It’s okay! I will figure it out, just like Grayson did at this session!
