Awesome kid.

This combo makes for a pretty epic senior session. Oliver loves skiing and mountain biking. He is a hard worker and works hard for the things he wants. It made sense to get a job that is in line with your interests. Oliver started at Bikes & Beans as a barista and is now a bike mechanic. You can see in these images that he truly loves working on others bikes and keeping his bike tuned up. I got to capture Oliver bleeding his brakes, drinking a cup of coffee that he made, and cleaning his chain. I personally love the details in the images and the pride and joy you see in his face. I love the moodiness of the black and white and being someone that loves bikes, I really loved this session.

This session was one of two sessions for Oliver. His next session is actually in the foothills on his bike next month. It’s very important to me to capture these kids in their element, capturing things they love. The foothills is where Oliver spends a lot of time. So capturing him in a few outfits by himself and also on his bike in the foothills is so perfect. One day these kids will look back at their senior portraits and either still have the same interests or hobbies or giggle at the ones they had.
