Meet this Rocky Mountain High School Senior.  Shelby loves animals.  She was so fun to work with.  Thank you Shelby for trusting me with such precious memories.  Enjoy your senior year sweetie!

Aeran McAllister was diagnosed with Stage 3 Breast Cancer in November 2009.  She courageously went through months of chemotherapy and radiation followed by a mastectomy and removal of lymph nodes.  All through the process she maintained a positive attitude and was an inspiration to those around her.

On October 7, 2010 Aeran received the news she was cancer free, and became a Breast Cancer Survivor.  This news was  received with great celebration and seen as a testament to Aeran’s strength and determination during her struggle.

In January 2011, a check-up found unusual white blood cells.  Blood tests were repeate, Aeran went through two bone marrow procdures and the news came back that Aeran has Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL).

The doctors acted quickly and Aeran began induction chemotherapy.  This required her to spend almost three weeks in the hospital, and because her immune system was weak, visitation was kept to a minimum to avoid any infection.  The first induction phase was not successful.  The second phase of induction chemotherapy she was able to receive her treatment and then allowed to go home.

Aeran is married to Rick and has 10 year old twins, Grace and RJ.

Aeran lost her battle with ALL on Friday, September 9, 2011.

These pictures were taken August 30, 2011 in her back yard.

These sessions are never easy.  It is amazing what these families go through and still stay so positive.  Thank you McAllister family for letting me into your home at such a hard time in your lives.

Thank you Kristy Wong and Ushawna Ekstrom for helping with this session

Ella has the sweetest spirit about her.  She was so sleepy and happy to photograph.  She didn’t even pee or poo on my floors or props!  Now isn’t that a miracle!   Thank you mama Jen for a fun filled afternoon.

Meet the Henderson family…Jared serves our country and was able to come home for the birth of his baby boy.  We did last minute maternity pictures and we were able to squeeze in a quick newborn session the day before he had to go back.  Thank you Henderson family for trusting me with your memories and thank you for what you do for our freedom’s…

Harry is a stud…he even has his own Facebook page.  Need I say more?  ;-)
