The amazing Ruffing Family!

I loved Rachelle’s spontaneous email about a week before Thanksgiving to see if I could possibly come to their amazing property while all the kids and grandkids were in town to update their family portrait. With all the activities between her family and mine, we made the morning of black Friday work. And look!! We were blessed with a blanket of snow and it even snowed lightly the entire session! aaaaaahhhhh So beautiful!!!

I can’t tell you how much it means to me to be able to photograph families at their special place. The barn, the horses, the hay, the barn cat, the dogs, and everyone in a great mood (most everyone 😜), we really had the most amazing session! Was it cold, of course. Are there ways around that? Of course! Was it worth it? Heck yes it was!
