💔👣 We were called to the hospital for a Little Heroes session to meet sweet Gabriel. Born at 39.5 weeks, his lungs were strong—but he had a rare congenital heart defect, and his heart is not viable. His time earthside would be short, but deeply meaningful. 🕊️

I had the honor of capturing:
🧼 His gentle washcloth bath
🫧 His mama combing his hair
🤱🏻 Precious family moments, even breastfeeding—though Gabriel was tired, and not wanting to nurse, the nurse did something I’d never seen before: she gently spoon-fed him colostrum, expressed directly from mama. Truly awe-inspiring. 🥄💛

Mama’s hand, seen in the first photo, holds Gabriel close—her tattoo reads “Bendecida”, Spanish for “blessed.” 🌿
And on her finger, a dragonfly ring—a symbol of transformation, emotional strength, and life’s deeper meaning.

Though I’m only able to share a few detail images, I wanted you to feel the love and symbolism woven into every part of this session.
