🤍 Little Heroes Inc…
A few years ago, I tried to step away from doing sessions at the hospital. But when I get the call, it’s because no one else is available — and I can’t imagine these families missing out on precious photos to remember their sweet babies.
This is Jonathan. 🤍 Born sleeping on July 11, 2025, at 30 weeks and 5 days. He weighed 3 pounds, 7 ounces.
There is a distinct smell of a baby who has passed — something I’ll never forget, though I wish I could. Their skin is so fragile, blister-like and delicate, so we have to handle them with the gentlest touch. ✨
Jonathan was lovingly wrapped and placed on a Cuddle Cot, a special cooling device that gives grieving parents the gift of time with their baby. When I arrived, his mama had to be rushed into emergency surgery for bleeding. I waited as long as I could, but I wasn’t able to capture her holding Jonathan. 💔 This has weighed on my heart deeply, and I pray she feels comfort in the photos we did capture of Jonathan and his daddy.
I’m only allowed to share small details — no full face or full body. But look at his perfect toes 🦶, tiny hands 🤲, little ear 👂, umbilical cord, and even his sweet, fuzzy shoulder. Absolutely perfect.
Jonathan’s daddy has powerful tattoos — one shown here (Romans 8:18 ✝️) and another (a cross with Psalm 23:4) not shown.
✨ Romans 8:18 — “I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.”
✨ Psalm 23:4 — “Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.”
Please keep this family close in your thoughts and prayers. 🤍🙏
