The candid image describes this family perfectly…the girls up to mischief, you can just hear John‘s contagious laugh, Paula entertained by her family, and Chase cracking himself up. Seriously, if you have ever spent time with this family, you know that it is nothing but good times and fun stories. John and Paula are one of the coolest couples I have ever met! They have been together since they were 16 and act like they just started dating! They have so much love and respect for one another, it is amazing!! They are both so kind and never too busy for anyone! They are not only successful as professionals, they volunteer and are very active in the kids sports and activities. They don’t miss a beat!! They always have a smile on their face and always thinking of others! Their kids are amazing little people! They are awesome on the soccer field and in school!
This portrait session took us to their “home away from home”. The location has meaning to them. I told them the type of backdrop I was looking for and they took me to their “canopy of trees trail” that they frequent. Paula and John spend a lot of time in their master bedroom.  It seemed appropriate to have family portraits on the wall connecting the bedroom to the bathroom/closets.  It is very open and anyone that walks in can enjoy them.  The Improv fits perfectly on that wall.
