When I find a location and willing participants, we go on an adventure!
Brandon gave the best birthday gift to Kerry…the gift of family portraits! This is one busy family so to nail down a date with this fun crew was nothing short of a miracle. On July 1st, the adventure began…I say this because this was the second time Roger and I had been to this location. Our maps took us the same way each time…weeeeeellllll…the Buck’s first time out here was picture day and their navigation took them on a wild adventure! Thankfully, we had enough service to find one another and sent some pin drops to find the cave and we had some extra time “just in case”.
This is Tea Kettle Cave, have you ever been? It isn’t marked, it was a four by four road to get there, or you can walk. There is a big hole in the earth that would be the top of the “tea kettle”. You enter the cave through the “spout” and you crawl into this big, beautiful cave! Now, I personally would not go here any later than we did (snakes). I think this is a spring visit but to each their own.
BIG thank you to the Buck family for being adventurous! It really was a fun experience as soon as we found one another. I can’t wait to hang your wall portraits and see these in print, they are ALWAYS better in print. That is what everyone says and I have to agree! So fun!!
