When families keep coming back, it’s such an honor!
Anne-Marie and Jake, along with Timothy when he was just a young lad had wedding pictures done in my studio. I have known Anne-Marie for many years but after they got married they moved to Missouri. Thankfully for social media, we can keep up on life for the most part. But how time flies!!!
Anne-Marie contacted me last year letting me know their plans for traveling back to Boise for a family reunion. How she wanted me to take Timothy’s senior portraits and update their family portraits in Smith’s Ferry because it had meaning. She really wanted Cougar Mountain in the background and the bridge as she grew up in this area. Nothing I love more than shooting at locations that have meaning!
I encouraged them to get up there early, reminisce over the area and have dinner at Cougar Mountain Lodge. When they left Nampa to head up the mountain, they were rear ended!!! They were feeling a bit banged up, whiplash, and a little shaken up but they said, we will just take some pain meds and still go through with it! Awesome, right???!!
I loved their drive and willingness to move forward with our plan, especially since we didn’t have a whole lot of time before they made their trek back to Missouri.
Thank you Amen family! What an adventure!!
