Another family session at another location that is super meaningful to the family! My favorite! What an amazing evening at the family cabin that dad (grandpa) built with his own two hands! Such a beautiful location as well! My heart is in the mountains and so I of course loved this imperfectly perfect backdrop!
Jill and her girls have been in front of my camera for more years than I’d like to admit, I’m just not going to be exact with you because I am feeling a bit old these days but I can say these two girls are as sweet as they get and the relationship of Jill and her girls is something to admire. Jill doesn’t take credit but she should! She is an amazing mama! Jill’s twin brother and her had a nice sibling picture of sticking tongues out at each other, of course their personalities! Jill’s parents were such kind and fun people! They weren’t sold on the backdrop but when they saw the pictures they loved them! They didn’t quite see the beauty I saw at the time but now understand. I appreciated that they trusted me and the process.
We were able to design wall art for their walls, I hung them and now they have something that brings joy and a big smile to their faces every day as they walk by them.
I do believe in what I do to my core! I had a friend stop by yesterday who had never been to our home and she really admired all the family art on our walls that was from the last 20 years. She really admired seeing the images of my girls so tiny to as recent as last year (still need to print this years family pictures, on the to do list).
I guess what I am saying, there is so much value in family portraits, even if you have to run to JC Penny’s or just use your cell phone. Document and print, print, print! Priceless!
We are booking winter portraits and I can say they are magical! Let me know if you have any questions or would like to set up a Planning Session to get started.
