I met Tiffani at a wedding this summer. She was quite possibly one of the cutest pregnant girls I have ever seen! She was all baby!! I was so excited and honored when she contacted me for baby pictures. We planned together a time of day that worked best for her little man, she kept me in the loop on what they were going to wear, and we had a date nailed down to capture Tiffani and her son. Mason was quite grumpy at the session and honestly I am not sure any of us thought we got a good shot. Babies always have their own agenda! BUT…we got MANY great shots! I am so in love with their pictures! I am so in love with their relationship! I love that we captured “them”. Mason is such a BIG, little man! This boy is 4 1/2 months and as cute as they come! Those rolls…
We had a great time in June photographing these families. The Challengers are like family but it was nice to meet Kim’s side of the family…the Walker’s. They were visiting from Winnemucca, NV. We had drinks, snacks and I had fun bossing them all around. We just got around to their ordering session because Donovan and Lisa are both in the BLM fire business and as you all know, the fire season is busy! Thank you to both of these families for choosing me to capture their relationships. Enjoy your beautiful portraits!
I’m sure this family was a little nervous to work with me. They have been going to another photographer in town for the last 13 years. They were referred to me by their photographer, and that my friends… is a compliment! I was happy to take care of them. We met ahead of time to make a plan, which made family portrait day fun and enjoyable. We were able to enjoy three locations. We were going for some brick, urban and a little bit of fall. This particular family portrait was the last location and the last shot for the evening.
I really enjoyed getting to know this family and hope to see them again! Great people!! Thank you, Lisa & Mary for trusting me with your memories!
This wonderful family just moved to town. They are closing on a home, getting situated in jobs and child care, but found time to get updated family portraits. Little K is almost two and sweet as they come. His smile lights up a room!! His little spirit is so fun, sweet, and loving. I can see why these parents are so in love with their little man. It’s so great to see such wonderful people move to the valley. We welcome them with open arms.
I was happy to take care of this family as they found me through word of mouth. That is the greatest compliment in my mind. We met to plan a senior session and it turned into a family session. With the recent weather, we had to do some juggling but ended up with a beautiful evening on the river last night. They were such good sports, ended dirty and wet but well worth it! We designed a cluster of canvas’s that looks wonderful on their stairwell…this is called The Pride and Joy.
I met them through working at Micron many years ago. Facebook has allowed us to stay in touch. We have kept in touch over the years with senior portraits, personal goals, little “Richard” and his portraits…we stay connected. I have a very personal connection to this family, still getting to know some of them, but love them all like family. As you can imagine, never a dull moment and always a few laughs at everyone’s expense! My favorite two quotes from Saturday…”my mom says that if I don’t behave, you will hit me over the head with a stick” (how do I not die laughing at this, not true by the way…haha) AND…at the end of the session, “let’s all clap for Kam”. Oh my!! Too funny!
I have known this family for years! They love to hunt, love to cheer on W at his football games, love to cheer on H at her softball games, and they love their dogs (Cori’s Oodles of Doodles). Cori’s heart is huge and she would do anything for anyone. Cori is my Scentsy gal, and oh how she knows I love my Scentsy! She knows I always go for the same two scents and encourages me to try something new…haha! We recently spent some time in the studio yard to update their wall portraits. The last time we did their family portraits was in 2011. I wouldn’t suggest waiting that long to update family portraits but sometimes life takes some turns and bumps. I’m happy that they are back and updating these memories of their relationships. Thank you, Moore family!
The Springer family was so pleased with their sons school portraits that I had done for The Learning Tree, they contacted me to do their family portraits! We talked about their goals, what worked in their home, their style, their comfort level. Soon after our “planning session”, a few hours after actually…I went to their home and helped them pick out clothing to wear. I really do believe that you can make things work that you have in your closet but also open to meeting at the mall to help buy new! They all looked so sharp and their dog was such a well behaved dog. I always encourage including your fury loved ones in a shot! The lighting and weather were perfect, everyone felt great, wine in moms hand (and photographers), we truly captured this family and their relationship.
I met with Denice for a complimentary consultation, planning session. We went over her goals, including who she wanted portraits of, final product needs, and a date that worked for their family to have their session. We kept in contact leading up to her family session on what they were wearing as that is so important! With two little boys, we both thought the studio yard was the perfect spot to keep their interest. The boys kept us all on our toes! We had beautiful results! All the planning paid off! They are getting ready to move, but they found time to capture what is so important, to capture their relationship as a family. Time goes by so fast! Thank you, Kester family!!
I met Ryan & Kendra through a mutual friend and loved them right away. Great people! They married later in life and have two amazing little boys! The boys kept me on my toes but I loved every minute of it! Between shoving pretzels in their mouth and drinking juice, we got some great family memories.
