Fineman family in the snow…

So thankful for the referral of this amazing family years ago! Each year we update this beautiful family and each year we aim for a new location.

With illnesses and bad weather we rescheduled to this beautiful day! No coincidence here! It was meant to be! We were blessed with fresh snow in the valley, happy kids and cooperating pets!

All the colors, the depth, the textures…oh my! Of course the kids gave mom and dad a hard time about getting pictures “again” but they all had fun and don’t let them tell you differently. They had hot chocolate, held hands, played ring around the rosie and threw snow. Nothing but smiles this day!!

Always an honor to photograph these guys! Always belly laughs and so fun to see these kids literally grow up in front of my lens. Thank you, Fineman family! I got to hang a beautiful canvas cluster of these images in their clinic, Paramount Animal Care. So if you take your pet there, you will see these images in print! My favorite!

Maddie Winter Session w/ Family…

The result of making it happen! No easy task when you have kids out of the house/out of town, split homes, busy schedules and then the dreaded task of finding outfits for everyone.

Maddie is one of our Season Seniors and her winter session was chosen to update family portraits. This session was amazing! I mean, look how well the dog behaved! awwwww, we all love a little puppy dog!
“I wanna pet that dawg”
How do I get the dogs to look at the camera you ask? Well, I can tell you but then I’ll have to kill you. Okay, just kidding! I make this horrible and embarrassing monkey noise but anything for the shot, right? 😉

I’m always encouraging the updated family shots because I truly believe in them. I also have one child graduated and one days away from graduating and I know that the older the kids get, especially after they graduate high school, it is so freaking hard to get everyone together for a family portrait!

I can’t wait to hang these portraits on their walls! Freaking gorgeous and no doubt will put a smile on their face every time they look at them!

Maddie…one more session, kid. Where did the time go!?? See you in the blooming orchards next month.

Anson Family…

Anyone ready for the blooming trees, green grass, sun on the skin and toes in the water?

This beautiful family is an example of a gorgeous spring, leading into summer session! I’m not sure how I missed sharing these beautiful faces last year, but I did! But how perfect to share now on this warm spring day in Boise today! I mean, after all there are the 12 seasons of Idaho and may opinion on what season we are currently in below. #funnynotfunny

Hang in there friends and enjoy every season because it will be over before we know it. I am going to enjoy winter at least one more weekend photographing seniors and families in the snow. Snow in the mountains all week! So beautiful!

But if you are looking to get spring photos, it’s time to start planning. I personally think spring photos in Boise are May through June. And then of course in April we will be in the tulip fields in Oregon. So many options! Let’s talk!

Peterson Family…

The beautiful Peterson Family! Last time I photographed them was in the lavender fields and the girls were soooo little. At least they seemed so little compared to the beautiful young ladies they have turned into! Anna was one of our season seniors, she chose Fall & Winter and of course we snuck in family photos at her winter session! It’s too beautiful not to!! They all look amazing and we had such a beautiful afternoon! I mean, look at the snow on the trees! You can’t even tell it was 18 degrees!! Gulp!! It usually isn’t that cold but that is what we had that day and they rocked it!

This is the canvas cluster they chose for their wall! It is a grouping of seven images, all hung one inch apart. Meant to tell a story! My number one seller and I can’t argue, it looks amazing on most walls!

Fuller Family Winter Session…

Jared’ final Season Senior session was in the snow with family! Jared is the baby of the family and sis was in town so we took advantage of this time to update family portraits! Don’t worry, the session was still all about Jared with a little family sprinkled in! What a fun family! We had a blast and ended our evening with dinner and a beverage! I can’t wait to hang their wall portraits for them! Thank you, Fuller family!

Pennington Family…

The wonderful Pennington Family! Some of these awesome people come to our annual Little Heroes Fundraiser and a few other events throughout the year so it was so awesome to meet the rest of the family! They were spicy and fun!

We had a wonderful morning in the foothills capturing this family. We captured the entire family, each individual family, grandparents together and with the grandkids and cousins! You won’t regret a session like this! Such amazing memories captured!

Jaxon in the Fall…

Jaxon is one of our Season Seniors! His fall session was full of fall colors with a touch of snow. So lucky! Isn’t it so beautiful??

This session we captured Jaxon in his hunting gear, with his guitar and with his family! I hope he looks back at these pictures 20 years from now and has the same hobbies!
I found my senior pictures a while ago and didn’t realize I had a picture taken with a camera!! I guess I have always loved photography and have always had a camera in my hand!
Making my hobby my profession has been such a fun journey!

Tia Fall Session…

Oh miss Tia! You are so beautiful, inside and out! Love that I get to capture you during your BIG milestone year! Your fall session did not disappoint! We captured you in the beautiful fall background with your volleyball and showing your beautiful personality! We got some amazing family portraits at the end of your fall session that are some of my favorites!! I have known your parents for a very long time and so it is such an honor to have you in front of my camera! Enjoy the rest of your senior year and I will see you in the snow next!!

Caden…

Caden was very specific and wanted some of his pictures at Idaho Botanical Garden. This location did not disappoint! Wow! My second time shooting here and I can say I’m in love! So much beauty to frame in this handsome senior!

Caden plays the trumpet, loves to hike Table Rock and loves the outdoors! We put this session together quickly as the weather was not about to cooperate. I watch the weather like a hawk and always have a plan b, c, d, e…haha. This amazing family was able to drop what they were doing and make sure this important session happened. We were able to update their family portrait and capture Caden for his BIG milestone year!
