When Trina walked into her Planning Session, she was unsure, a little overwhelmed, and very honest about it. Their family had never had professional photos done before. They knew it would be an investment. Wasn’t sure what to wear. How to plan and prep! They just didn’t know what to expect.

While my brain often jumps to outdoor locations first (because… Idaho 😍), their family made the most sense in the studio—and I loved it. The studio is such an underrated option!

With two kiddos home from college at the same time (which we all know is rare!), we were able to freeze this season beautifully. Their home had so many great walls, but I’m a “less is more” designer—so we intentionally designed just two spaces:

✨ One larger family wall portrait they pass and enjoy daily
✨ One smaller wall featuring three portraits that tell their story

I have no doubt they walk by those images every day with full hearts and big smiles.
